Is there a standard poker table size for professional tournaments?

    Well, if by standard table size you mean the actual length-width-heighth of the table than no, there is no standard table size.

    If by standard table size you mean the number of players sitting at one table than there is indeed a standard size. The number of players generally at one table in a large Hold'em or Omaha poker tournament than each table will generally have 9 people seated to it. In 7-Card Stud poker games there will generally only be 8 people seated at one table because of a lack of cards for 9 people.

    No, there is no standard size for tables in poker. Almost all tables used for poker in casino play are 8 1/2 or 9 feet long.

    Unfortunately, as popular as poker has become, there is still no standarization of the rules (not that something like the size of the table would be covered if there were), so the structure, rules, design of the table, etc.. will vary from tournament to tournament.
