He was a Bohemian-Austrian composer and conductor. I personally love this piece of his.

He was a composer and conductor. He admired Schumann Symphonies and arranged at least one of Schumann's symphonies to strengthen to strengthen some of it's weak spots. I've also heard that musicians enjoyed having him as a conductor. He was well known to be able to get more out of an orchestra than other conductors.
