Do I need a special web hosting service if I plan to maintain my website using a Mac instead of a PC?

    Nope. All Web Hosting services allow you to use an FTP client to upload your files to the server. Since you can write HTML (or any other web language) on any computer, you don't have to worry about the service you select. You will just write the page on your computer and then upload it to the server.
