Is Yahoo! on the way out? It seems they're slowly shutting down different parts...Yahoo photos is gone, Yahoo auctions....

Yahoo is one of the WORST run corporations in the U.S. They got a new president last year, but nothing has really changed. They half-ass nearly everything they do and they have NO customer service. That's what is going to totally sink them, in the end. They have good concepts, but they put absolutely no customer care into anything. Yahoo Answers was and is a great success for them, but they allow the trolls to run rampant and don't give a toss about 'quality'. Also, they put their time and resources into fighting people who are actually trying to HELP them. What a totally IDIOTIC corporation!

I have to say it wouldn't cause me one bit of grief if Yahoo went down in some of the worst corporate flames in history. In fact, I'd probably peel off my clothes and do a happy dance around the fire. :)

In my opinion, yahoo was the first great search engine. Unfortunately, the first things usually die at some time simply because other things become more popular. I like Yahoo and will continue to use it as long as it's there.

- I really liked Yahoo photos, but all of a sudden I had an awful time trying to upload photos and just viewing them was difficult. Then I got an email that I needed to pick somewhere to transfer them. I'm not fond of any of the sites they had to choose from. I was sorry to see that go. Also, I liked Yahoo auctions because it had less traffic than ebay. There might not have been as big of a selection of items, but a lot of the time you could get a better deal.
