I did. Y!A is so poorly run, as you well know. Good users over there just don't stand a chance against the hoards of trolls, point gamers, and, a totally clueless, power mad staff. I don't miss it one bit. This place has so much more to offer in almost every respect. I think you'll like it here, Faerie. Glad you came over. :)

I was a high-level user there when I left it. Error 999 kept on appearing each time I submitted an answer. I was pissed so I asked Yahoo to delete my account. I also asked fellow users to report me.
I still have a Level 2 account there. Sometimes I miss it.

Me! And darned glad that I did. My account is still 'live', so I can go back and check on friends, but I always wonder how I used to find that site so friendly. It is like communicating through lead walls. Ugh.

Don't know why it took me so long to find AB or even how I found it. But I'm glad I did, YA was beginning to drive me insane with the same questions asked over and over again.

There are no exact figures, and I don't think a study has been conducted on that. But I'm a former Yahoo! Answers member who has found a new Q&A home, the name of which is Answerbag.

Not me. I found this site through Google. I don't have a problem with Yahoo! Answers, although I do not contribute there. One of the reasons I am aware of it is because I've found it through Google, too, when I've looked up questions I was wondering about and people who have contributed there have helped me, even if I've never interacted with them in my life.
If reported do AB staff remove Spam answers & the users profile?
