Help answer this question below.

I received a speeding ticket that reads I was going 50 MPH in a 60 MPH zone. Will this ticket be dismissed since it shows me as not speeding?

    youll probably get off but if you were just driving down the road slow for no reason you deserve the ticket slow drivers is probably the reason for most of the road rage out there. i know semi truck drivers that can drive the speed limit.

    This citation apparently was for impeding traffic, not speeding. going slower than the posted speed limit, is just as dangerous as speeding above the limit. traveling 10 mph under the speed limit on the interstate can be a safety hazard in itself. many tractor-trailers have rearended automobiles because the automobile was impeding traffic and the truck driver was not paying attention to the road. in this case, both drivers were cited. this is a valid citation. go to court and go to school.

    While your were not going over the speed limit, you still broke the law. Going under the speed limit is illegal too. I'm sure it will be dismissed in court being it's just 10 mph under, unless you get a judge who's a jerk or just having a bad day. You could always say you were behind someone else going slow or someone cut you off or something... if you do want to argue it. Don't stress about it, you'll probably get off.
