I think it would depend on how long the delivery took and how intense it was.

You might loose a few pounds, but whats it really about? giving birth naturally is very good for your body and your well being, and breast feeding is even better for loosing weight too. It can naturally flatten your stomach, give you very large boobs :) and above all gives your baby the BEST start in life. What could be better??? forget people who feel bad about breast feeding in public... I got my boobs out feeding in the public and I felt very proud of it! :p

I disagree with the second birth being shorter than the first. Both my sons were a week late, and I never went into labor naturally, (water broke 12 hours passed, induction began.) My second was 5 hours longer than my first. I wouldn't worry about calories being burned in a natural labor, I would concern myself with health of my children, and then my health.

It would probably vary. You'd probably burn more birthing your first child than you would your second, as first labors generally last longer than the second and so forth.

Probably quite a few - but does it really matter? Are you going to decide whether or not to do it based on the calories you'll burn off? lol I sure hope not!
