I usually send them when I realize I am not going to end up having time anymore to get them there before Christmas, somehow. Every year it seems to sneak up on me.

I'm completely anti Christmas card at the last minute. In the past its felt like a Xmas chore, but I love cards...so I found a method that works for me. I buy after the Christmas sales, when you can get really nice expensive cards for way less. Whenever I'm in a writing/decorative mood:I find time throughout the year, writing and decorating the card/envelopes with stickers & r. stamps.A few days throughout the year; it doesn't feel like a chore. When December rolls around, I'm done. Christmas cards are out the door December 1st.
