  • Be confident and look at them in the eyes at all times. Try not to ramble on too much, that is sometimes a sign of nervousness. Even though they understand that you probably are nervous, they want to see you handle yourself in a way that doesn't make it obvious. Good luck!
  • Lots of direct eye contact. Sit up straight, and be attentive. Dress one step up from the usual things you would wear if you already had the job. Have a copy of your resume with you (just in case). Do NOT dwell on any negative attributes figure out a way to make them sound possitive. Be honest. If you feel confident about yourself they will feel confident with you.
  • Here are some tips for any job interview: 1) Be prepared. Come with questions about the job and about the company - good ones. Make sure you have read and understand fully the job description. 2) Tell the truth. But don't stress your faults. If there is something negative that is brought up, and you are working to improve that, tell them how it this improvement project is going. 3) Listen and think before you speak. Ask clarifying questions if you don't understand something. 4) Try not to be nervous. Breathe deeply before entering the interview. Warm up your hands in your pockets or under your legs before shaking hands. Good luck!
  • This is going to seem very simplistic, but I would say try to "be yourself". Also, please remember that the interview is a two-way street. You are also sizing up the company to see if they can convince you that they would be a good fit for you. So I would ask questions about the company that would indicate you want to be where you can make the greatest contribution..you can outline your strengths at that juncture. I don't mean that you should come across as arrogant or conceited..but you shouldn't come across as needy or desperate either. Doing some homework about the company would probably be helpful..although anyone can get access to information, memorize a lot of stuff, and I don't think that would be very good either. You'll do just fine..good luck. I hope it is a good fit! :) ((hugs))
