You know those thumbnails in windows for your video files... How can I make them show, let's say, 1min after the beginning of a clip? Since the "preview" icon shows the VERY beginning of the video, they all end up being black squares... kinda useless...

some movies have stuff at the very beginning of them?
Or perhaps edit the very first black bit out of all your movies, kind of an useless exercize but there you go.

- yea... kinda long and useless. if only it worked like youtube and showed you the middle of the video... besides, most movies have the "Warner bros" "columbia pictures" "miramax" etc... kinda stuff happening at the very beginning

- have a movie open then quickly drag + drop others into the player.
