You could always call the tow truck. I would recommend checking out who they'd charge, first, though. On the other hand, it might be worth it to get rid of the car.

Have you called the police?

I would call the police and let them deal with it officially! If they say there is nothing they can do, ask what you can do to move it! It might be possible, as its on your land, to smash the window and push it onto public property where it can be towed away. But if you do this, be honest with the police and tell them you know the owner ect-.

a car parked illegally in my driveway cannot be there for more than one hour, regardless what state i live in.

YOUR DRIVE? Have it towed! period end of problem!
-
Your driveway, have it towed and for title acquisitions is usually 90 days after you file a lien on it.
-
I don't understand why you didn't have it towled? If it bothers you get ride of it.

If this vehicle is not stolen, the police cannot remove the vehicle, since its on your property, private property. Only you can call a tow truck of your choice and have the vehicle removed. if the owner does not retrieve the vehicle within a certain amount of days(all states are different), then the vehicle will be placed for sale at public auction. This will be your time to place a bid of the vehicle. this is the only legal way to purchase the vehicle.

Some one parking his car every night on driveway of my house, which is currently empty and for sale, In return to my notes to remove it - vehicle owner leaving the note with explanation that nobody lives in this house but he can not park his car on street as "no parking" there. Police can not do anything as car is not listed as stolen, HOA can not do anything as they don't have contract with tow company, no one tow company will tow this car away because it is not my car and I don't have a "no parking" sign on my driveway issued by particular tow company. So - check and mate?
