I think it is a good thing for the freedom of Venezuelan citizens. But what good is a constitution when tthe government is so corupt that it isn't worth the paper it is written on. One could argue that it is best to have an authoritarian government in a developing country until they have matured to the point where democratic frameworks, institution and culture is firmly rooted.

It is hard to say what will come out of it.Indeed they want a democratic government ,and they have voiced their opinions.I would need to look into the amendments to see why they voted against them.On the surface it is unclear on what these developements will will bring about good or bad.
