  • It's possible that in your sleep you are chewing, or making contact with your teeth. Tongue piercings can be really dangerous if you are at all concerned with your teeth. You havfe have cracked a tooth, or it could simple be the pressure from the piercing. Give it up to a week for the swelling, and the pain, well I think a few days. Clean really well, and just take care of it. If it doesn't go away, see the doctor, but usually tooth pain gives headaches. Good luck, feel better soon!
