  • Could be any range of things. Once again, the check engine light means "CHECK THE ENGINE". Amazing... Take it into a shop and a mechanic will be able to answer your question.
  • Could be alot of things. If it runs good when cold and gets worse when warm, at low RPM, it may be the EGR valve. May just need cleaning. A plugged fuel filter won't cause the light to come on, but it will cause a lean condition, which will. Possibly a bad crank sensor, they have been known to have trouble at the connection, check it to make sure it's clean and tight. it's on the pass side, at the rear, were the motor & trans bolt up. first things to do are to make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. Then replace the filter. Get a Haynes manual, about $15. It will tell you how to check codes, and where the battery is. It's located in front of the pass side fender. The tire has to be removed to check/change it.
  • Geek860 It has been in the shop.Following the shop's recommendation, 4 injectors have been replaced, the pcm has been replaced and reprogramed,the fuel pump assembly has been replaced, the fuel filter has been replaced, it still sputters and stalls,and the fuel light came back on.Any other suggestions ?
