I usually use the hotel's shampoo but always bring my own conditioner and usually a small bottle (3 oz) of my own shampoo just in case I do not take to the shampoo used by the hotel.

I always bring my own. Ive had too many occasions where they give you a bottle of shampoo+conditioner combination and it just doesnt feel like it gets my hair clean.

I Always bring my own, but depending on where I am staying (Quality of hotel and ammenities) I might just use the one's provided. I love the Aveda shampoo and conditioner at some ($$$) hotels.

Its just as good and its included in the cost of the room.
The Amerigo in Evansville, Indiana is the absolute best place to stay.
Everything, including shampoo, is laid out on white linen napkins. taking a shower is an adventure. water hits you from all angles.
I leave my shampoo at home.
Thats just something else i do not have to pack.

i bring my own, because it has organic ingredients. hotels (and even the four-star posh ones like the ritz carlton, four seasons, etc. =) only ever offer cheap, toxic chemical soups for shampoo ~ never touch the stuff.

I always bring my own. I've had too many occasions where they give you a small bottle of shampoo&conditioner even we can't wash our hands or face from that because it's too tiny and is not enough to wash hair. That's why I bring my own things most of the times. It's good for us.
