My two year-old female pug urinated in the house, which she is trained not to do, and the urine was a dark brown color, possibly with a bit of blood as well. Otherwise, she seems healthy. What should I do?

Don't mess around with a possible kidney infection. Take her to the vet ASAP.

My six year old Lab seems healthy but his urine is an amber color lately. He walks five miles a day and seems normal other than the urine issue.

It could also be an infection in her bladder or urinary tract. I would recomment taking a sample of her urine to the vet. If it is one of these they will probabl put her on a special food diet (like CD).

Either that or she is having her period.
