Question

Help answer this question below.

If you knew someone was cheating, would you tell on them? Would you tell someone else so they could tell? Would you let it continue and say nothing about it? Or what if it was someone close to you that was being cheated on, would you tell then?

Now that is quite a dilemma. If say I found out that someone close to me, (eg my sister)was cheating on her partner then i wouldnt say. But if my sisters partner was cheating on her and I found out I wouldnt say straight away but I would make it very clear that if they didnt tell then I would.

If I found out a married friend was cheating then and I knew the partner well, I would keep my mouth shut, but I would also tell the one who was cheating that I did not want to know anything about the affair. Traditionally, the messenger gets shot in at times like these.

That depends upon my relationship with the betrayed partner. I do not believe that I am under any obligations to perpetuate other peoples' lies - even by my silence.
