I use to try and stop my dog from sleeping with me. But he would always end up in the bed when I woke up the next morning. I just got tired of trying to stop him.

I do allow them to sleep with me, even if they do take up all of my bed!

I don't have any pets but if I did I don't think I would allow them to sleep with me. I don't like the thoughts of sleeping in the pet hair that they have shed all over my sheets.

Well, if you ever get a cat, good luck getting it to listen to you when you say no. Anytime I say no to mine, she just looks at me like I'm stupid.

So cute =D, I'm considering buying a kitten in the next few weeks :).

Good luck. Try not to get an emotionally damaged one like I got. She's very sweet to me and hates everyone else. The lady at the vet calls her "Satan." I love her, but I'm the only one. She lives up to her name though. Her name means "Miss Thing" in romanian.

One of my cats sleeps at least part of the night on my bed. The other stays in the basement, if I let both cats in my bedroom at night, they would fight constantly.

Indeed. My fat cat takes up too much room but I love him too much to kick him off. He comes in for a cuddle in the mornings sometimes too which I enjoy.
Often I get stuck with far too little room since my partner and I share a double bed with the cat! Not much room left I assure you :)
