Yes; if the injury was work related or on the job the employer must pay you for the time needed to go to the doctor. If you have a collective bargaining agreement/contract or an employee handbook that information may be included. You can always call workers compensation for additional information. Your employer pays for workers compensation (not necessarily because he/she cares that much for their employee(s) but does not want to be sued.
