You're reading Christians, The meek shall inherit the earth. Can't you just imangine the earth made new and it will be so beautiful? We will all live in harmony here on earth. We will love and worship God even more than we do now. Even though we love him alot now.
Comments
"But in view of all that people are doing to one another and to the earth, what do you think there will be left for the meek to inherit?"
Not a thing. That's why there will be a new heavens and a new earth, "for the former things have all passed away..."

Hello Larry. Thank you for your comment and your sincere question. Did you read the article in the link? From previous conversations with you, I know that you know the scriptures pretty well. Did you look up the cited scriptures in the article as well as in my answer? This article deals more with what the earth will be like:

Remember like the Beroeans to always look up the scriptures. Before man can totally ruin the earth, God is going to "bring to ruin those ruining the earth". I have not been on AB for a few days and I had something like 167 comments. I might not be able to be on much the next few days either so I might lose this thread. If so, try to comment again in a week or so, so that it will bring it back up in my feedback. Talk to you later Larry.
(Acts 17:11) Now the latter were more noble-minded than those in Thes‧sa‧lo‧ni′ca, for they received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so.
(Revelation 11:18) But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”
I don't know if I gave you this link before, but here are some on line Bibles, concordances, manuscripts, and such. Most that are internet savvy like yourself are already familiar with some of these but I like to share anyways just in case:
