  • My guess is that you lose blood volume with dehydration and since blood carries oxygen to your cells, not enough oxygen is carried to the brain due to the lack of blood volume.
  • Fainting can be caused by several things including dehydration. With Dehydration the body loses water. As water is lost the body’s blood volume can also decrease. If at this point, if the body is subjected to stress it will react by increasing the heart rate. This increase in heart rate will cause a drop in blood pressure/volume in the brain. This can trigger fainting. Keep in mind that heat itself is stress. So really too much heat can mean lights out.
