Will older guitars work with Guitar Hero III on PS2? I just ordered a React Rocker and now I hear it's not compatible....

I'm not sure if the React Rocker is compatible with GH3 but I personally use older guitars and they work for GH3. They're all for the same system. They all have the same buttons and bar. There's virtually no reason why it wouldn't be compatible. According to what i have looked up your Guitar should work though.

Actually the react products are of really good quality, but unfortunately the rocker is not compatible with GH3. I had purchased a rocker when they first came out & to this day it still works without any problems on GH1, GH2 & GH Encore. I was a little upset when it didn't work with GH3 but I decided to go out & get another guitar that was compatible. Who knows with the upcoming releases if any of the older guitars will work unless they come from Red Octane.
