I'm a woman. I think porn is fun to watch. I have an extensive collection, both live-action and hentai. It includes gay male, hetero, bi and lesbian. As long as the actors are in it of their own free will, more power to them.

That would really be a case-by-case issue. Some pornography is empowering to women, some is demeaning. There are so many kinds of pornography out there, you can't generalize and say it is all one thing.

tough question.........i think it may lower standards of behavior. god, when did i become republican? i think it CAN make the unacceptable appear to be quite acceptable. i also feel that it is unquestionably affecting the way very young woman dress, and behave in a very negative way. "girls gone wild"........yeeeeesh

I am of the school of thought that I cannot push my personal definition of morality upon another...It isnt my place to say that what one woman does is demeaning or empowering...her perception of it may be different.

women CANNOT find porn demeaning. that is just the only thing they can think of as an excuse 2 complain. i simply say: go and complain 2 the chicks in the pictures, not me !

Demeaning. And empowering. Not all pornography is created equal. Some porn can be educational, fun, and wholesome. Some can be demeaning, sexist, and without value. Porn has created crime, and it has helped promote free speech. It has been accused of hurting the idea of safe sex, but it also helped the internet become so popular and cheap that your grandmother can now afford her own domain name. Surely some sex offenders were influenced by porn, and surely some people became great lovers because of porn. I adhere to that school of thought that rejects black and white distinctions. Porn isn't a blessing or a curse, but it can be close to either, depending on it's content and the mindset of the viewer.

demeaning. what good does it do for women? Have their lives been improved by it? Name one positive thing that has come from it.

i think its demeaning as women are here for more important reasons then giving men pleasure through sex! and a lot of people that do it are in it for the money not the enjoyment!

It depends. I used to feel that it was demeaning, but that was before I started thinking for myself and really looking at it. Porn comes in diffrent levels.There is stuff out there thats gratifying and stuff that makes me want to throw up.

I think it empowers women as long as they do it for the right reason, if its for the wrong reason then those photos are going to be a demeaning idolization of the wrong choice.

It depends on the porn. There is porn that is creepy and rapey, and the woman is obviously not enjoying it. Now if the porn includes a woman that is doing it safely, of her own free will, and is enjoying it, then it is quite good.
