Are online graduate degrees valued as highly by employers as degrees from traditional institutions?

    I think it depends somewhat on the field. As an employer in an organization that does laboratory research, I would not give ANY value to an online graduate degree. Such a degree wouldn't demonstrate any aptitute for actual research. However, I believe that on-line MBAs are increasingly becoming recognized as legitimate degrees; maybe not as valuable as a traditional MBA, but not worthless.
