Aside from the museum in Saratoga Springs, there is a performance Arts library at Lincoln Center. It has an archive of dance performances that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. Especially of note are the Balanchine pieces which are carefully guarded by the Balanchine trust. Aside from going to see NYCB perform and some rare exceptions for other companies to perform his works, this would be the only place you could see them.

The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, New York, has a collection of videos, biographies, costumes, photographs, artifacts and archives pertaining to dance and is the only one in the United States that I am aware of. They have frequent spotlight exhibits focusing on one particular era or entertainer. You can find their web page at www.dancemuseum.org.
