It was taken out and revamped from fears of people blacking out, which tends to happen around 5. Most big coasters such as Kingda Ka, Hulk, and Space Mountain pull anywhere from 3.5 to 4.5 G's. These are harmless as long as they are done in short spurts. So I guess to answer your question the highest G is most likely Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure with 4.5 G's.
