Bird's ears are located on the sides of their heads.
To add to that, they are usually hidden behind some little feathers just behind the eye area. if you move those feathers you will see what looks like a hole in their head. that is the ear.
Birds don't really have ears, they have earholes. They are located at the sides of their head, usually at the same level as their eyes or lower and they are completely covered with feathers. The feathers keep out wind noise and pressure so they can hear better. Some birds have very stiff feathers over the ears to keep water out better, like penguins.
