Why do ecstasy users claim to have backaches from using ecstasy?

    Depends on the pill. The MDMA in the x will not do this but if you get pills cut with a lot of methamphetimine they will cause backaches because the speed makes your muscles cramp up. Especially if you do not drink a lot of water. If you get molly powder, pure MDMA, this will not happen.

    I agree with spencej. You would normaly feel tired or feel a pain if you did something to hurt your back. On ecstacy, the pain and all the alerts are on a train far away.

    sitting with a cramped back for 8 hours will give it a bad ache.

    I agree with most people that the backache is because the body is dehydrated. However, I think that drinking too much water is a problem.
    It depends on the level of pysical activity the person is doing. Some people who are on "e" do not dance all night, therefore should not drink as much water as those who do.

    1 cup of water every half an hour is a reasonable amount.

    Ecstasy drains spinal fluids when not enough water is drinken. But when too much water is drinken, it drowns your brain, and causes damage. The recomended amont of water to drink is 500mL - 1 L of water an hour
