  • I live in Tennessee, the meth capital, and be sure I'm not one of these "hugs not drugs" fiends. I would personally puff on a fat joint myself, but that stuff that you're talking about- methadone- is some serious shit. Yesterday on the news they were talking about a couple that was all hyped up on that stuff, and they made weird calls to 911... because they were lost in their apartment complex PARKING LOT. They called 911 and couldn't even tell the cops where they were, they were so disoriented. They both froze to death that night. IN THEIR OWN APARTMENT COMPLEX PARKING LOT. I don't ever want anything to do with that stuff... the methadone itself might not kill you... but it's definately dangerous one way or another.
  • I found a video for you :)
  • Unfortunately, it is not easily answered. If the person is not narcotic naive, then 10mg methadone is not likely to cause overdose. I knew someone who switched from oxycodone (5mg every 4hrs) to 10mg methadone 2x day. I also know someone who takes 8-9 10mg methadone at a time (only once per day though) So it really does depend on the person, and their history with narcotics. As a rule, methadone is not the first pain medication a doctor will try, so if someone is put on methadone, they're likely not naive to narcotics, so the it's not likely to overdose in that case. Good luck.
