No because then the sexiness of it all (the athletic and well toned part) is gone to waste. If you want less fabric, mid thigh shorts are ok. Besides they were what summer 07 was about (per fashion magazines).... but ... NEVER thongs.

No, he should wear a thong only if/when he wants to. Athleticism or tone is irrelevant to ability or reason to wear a thong. (Besides, as has been said, thongs are NOT good on men, and any good looks they have will be mutilated by the thong : P ) At least, that's my take on it, I don't much care whether or not someone wears a thong to be honest, but I think it should be done only if you want to wear one, and then it doesn't matter how you look *shrugs*

It is up to you. If someone is athletic and well toned, you really don't need a thong. Just dress comfortably and let your build do the talking for you. Bottom line, wear what suits you best.

Why not? I'd recommend a full Brazillian and leather sandals tho. Too much body hair peeking out of your clothes might turn some people off.

Well thanks for the responses. People tend to have strong opinions on this subject. My thoughts are that you shouldnt wear them if you are hairy or are out of shape. If you are proud of your body and are in good shape, then you should wear what you want. The beach is full of a lot of skin that you wouldn't normally se other places anywhere. The glutes are the biggest muscle in the body and if someone has worked hard on them then it is their right to show them whether they are male or female. Just my 2 cents.

There is no male body type that will be more attractive while wearing a thong. NO ONE wants to see that. That is one reason I stopped going to the beach here.

Why the heck not! I wear a thong when I go to the beach and the women go for it. It is a little strange at first, but you quickly get adjusted to strange women coming up and introducing them selves. Yes, Ihave worn a thong on beaches in Mexico alot, and have got nothing but possitive comments from women. But I think you should be in shape and be well shaved.I have seen alot of women who shouldn't be wearing what they had on!
