The answer to this question is simple. You can't level up your pet. BUT, you can change the intimacy between you and your pet. Your pet can go from shy to Loyal. All you need to do is feed it before it gets hungry and play with it from time to time. A loyal pet would sometimes blurt out cute one-liners and the tricks they do become complicated. The level you see when you check your pet status is actually a pet classification. So porings are level 1 pets, dokebis are lvl 33 pets and so on. Hope this helps.

Pet cant level up but homonculus pet can be leveled up but it can only be used by an alchemist/biochemist...
