  • HP. I have one of them and they are great for games.
  • "Laptop" and "Lots of Games" don't normally go well together... but my HP Pavilion dv9000 handles Fable pretty well. I bought my compy over a year ago, for around $1800
  • There's really no brand of computer that excels in gaming more than another. OK, that's not entirely true - Alienware makes computers specifically tailored to gaming, but most folks would balk at their prices. What you need to look at isn't brand so much as what components it comes with. Games benefit from fast processors, lots of RAM and a decent video card mated to a good motherboard. There are hundreds if not thousands of computers that could meet that spec. Laptops get a little trickier when it comes to gaming only because laptop makers take shortcuts to fit all that stuff in such a small box (while keeping costs down). So, aside from the things I've already mentioned above, you'd want a laptop with video circuitry that doesn't skimp. That means it should at least have its own dedicated video RAM. Another thing to watch for is the screen size and quality. There's no point getting a gaming laptop if the screen image looks sucky.
