hell no. how do we expect to teach people that killing is wrong by killing? let alone by letting people watch someone dying.

I think you'd have to be a sick and twisted person to watch someone die on pay-per-view....What exactly could you get out of watching that?
-
No, and I don't believe that any other normal person would either.
-
Once, maybe twice but not all the time. You have to be pretty demented to watch it all the time.
-
I wouldn't watch. I know quite a few people who would, and others maybe once out of curiosity.
-
Absolutely not. Killings are a gruesome business. I know it seems unfair that a brutal criminal gets more consideration than he/she gave any of his/her victims, but that is the way of our civilized society. I think when you take a life, you lose a piece of your own humanity. And witnessing deaths takes a toll on people's souls. It would be like going back to the days of public hangings/executions that were well attended because people regarded them as a form of entertainment. I think it's too harsh for most people to watch.

Yeah, I'd totally watch that. That's just so brutal. And awesome. Aww, God, that's so awesome...that's just...really awesome!

No, witnessing someone's death made me sink into depression for some 3 years, and I NEVER want ANYONE to have to go through that. Seeing someone lose their life is far more damaging than you might imagine, it's never as simple as someone just not moving any more... I don't care what crime someone has committed, I don't support the death penalty (however, I do support the use of lethal force to stop the criminal if they are going on a rampage with no sign of stopping, but then it should be a desperate measure, not a quick fix at first sight...) ***** Eh... I really can't understand how anyone could even consider a pay-per-view execution program, unless they are woefully naive or somewhat cold-hearted.
