Help answer this question below.

Why is it that you always see American’s and Canadian’s bad mouthing each other online in chat rooms, forums and what not? I mean shouldn’t they be the best of friends given the amount of money the two nations make off one and other?

    They're like bratty siblings. The U.S. is the over-achieving stronger older sibling who wins all the achievement awards, and Canada is clever albeit underachieving younger sibling with a happy-go-lucky personality who tends to be overlooked for not being an honor student like the big brother. They're just very different kids. They love each other though, and usually the "sibling" rivalries are pretty superficial.

    I love canada. I think they're a nation of heroes.
    Look at WWII! (We can make fun of each other if we want.)

    Prior to today, I used to answer or comment on questions if I knew an answer or had a very strong opinion on the topic. But recently I have been attacked by Canadians who are very angry and won't agree with an American. Now before I answer I check to see where the person is located who asked the question, because I don't want to get a series of hateful comments ALL DAY LONG and get "negged" every time I log on. I'm not even a mean person. I try to get along with everyone, and I've never given a "neg" rating. I don't understand it.

    Because Canadians need to learn how to pronounce the letter O before they're allowed to speak to us. :P

    Actually I tend to think of it like how good friends give each other a hard time. I'm from Montana real close to the Canadian border, so I've been around canucks a lot. The US and Canada may as well be brothers, it's just poking fun at each other.

    I don't have a problem with Canadians, although I have been told they have a problem with Americans. But I haven't noticed that. The few I did know always recieved jokes about being Canadian or were identified by where they were from...but usually when they were all jokingly insulting their home-country.
