I don't know, but I will be watching this question--I have similar troubles.
-
It could be the things your eating making you feel that way. try exercising more, and drinking more water (dehydration could be a major culprit)
-
I have the same problem so I know how you feel! I hope you get an answer that could maybe help us both! Good luck!

Chronic fatigue can be a symptom of depression. Find a depression self-test online & answer honestly...if you decide you are depressed, see your doctor. Also, you might not be getting enough protien in your diet. Eat an extra serving of meat for aq few days & see if you don't feel better. This happened to my ex wife while she was preg with our second child.

It seems like quite a few of us at AB are having this problem. Hopefully someone will provide us with a good answer that can help us all..

Ask your doctor to check your thyroid and iron levels. Having low counts of either one can definitely make you feel tired and even depressed!. I felt like you did until I checked my iron. It was low so the Dr gave me some PRESCRIPTION iron tablets. I've never felt better!

without knowing your entire medical hx, i will try to help. first off, do you have any depression? like if someone says, why dont we go out to eat or see a movie, you would just rather stay home and do nothing. that would be the first thing i evaluated. as for medical dx. you stated you were at the dr. RBC count. are you anemic? did they check your thyroid? you are young like me, my problem was depression. didnt even know i had it, but when i started takeing lexapro it made me much more happy go lucky. unless i seen your test results i could just throw out guesses all night. but most common. depression, anemia, thyroid, i hope this helps and pray you get better.

Your doctor says you're healthy, we'll give you some time to determine if it's depression. Start with water. Drink the plain clear stuff in sufficient quantities. There's a thousand symptoms of dehydration and everybody's different. Next, exercise, get out and burn some energy. Work it into your schedule somehow. Be honest with yourself and you will find time in the day to improve your health. You don't have to try and be Jane Fonda or Arnold either, just walk fast for 30 min if that's what you can do. The exercise is going to affect your Base Metabolic Rate and hormone balance over time. Energy and your body is like love, the more you give, the more you get. If a few months of regular exercise still leaves you constantly tired, I'd recommend a therapist visit for possible depression.

some people need more sleep than others... I knew someone who could not sleep more than 4 hours a day.. I was so jealous because I need 10 hours per day.
-
I found a book called Powerful Sleep, by Kacper Potawski, very helpful. It's more about how to improve the quality of your sleep than the quantity, but that worked out fine for me.

My brother is just the same - sleeps 8 or 10 hours and feels completely unrested. He went in for "sleep testing", but hasn't found out anything. Maybe you'd consider that? My brother wasn't sure if his was going to be too helpful. Otherwise, all I can think of is for you to eat more protein, especially in the morning - I read this someplace. I know that I, myself, without sleep problems, have more energy if I have some meat for breakfast.
