  • I would say the vehicle is having a hard time getting fuel from the tank. Could be the pump, filter, rail, or other fuel system issue. I would start with replacing the filter.
  • i have the same problem with my 99 and have changed the filter and spark plugs. mine seems to cut out more when the weather is colder but is still not consistent as to when it cuts out but is most noticeable pulling away from stop lights and not at higher speeds.
  • Have had that problem, we ended up changing the fuel pump. Service manual suggests, in order, Bad PCM Ground, Dirty air filter, Bad fuel injector, Incorrect fuel pressure, bad fuel filter, bad fuel, Bad O2 sensor. Bad cap/rotor/wire/plug. I can get service manual info if you need it. Good Luck
