Does the PS2 version of The Sims 2 still have the growing up and growing old, family generations feature like the PC game?

Unfortunately, no. I own the game and its not even close to the PC version. You stay the same age throughout the entire game. You can't even fire, tip, or even talk to the maid. It's kinda like Sims 1 except you can't have kids.
