I have found out that not just glass for pictures, but flexyglass works well cause it wont break like glass and it protects from sunlight,also there are those tubes to sealand store posters like the ones artictes use for there floor plans.

Frame your favourite poster and keep it away from water, dust, fungus etc. If you can do this you can preserve it for a long time.
