    That will only make it worse. And you'll still have to pay everything back. So tighten your belt, get another job, pay off everything, and stop wasting your money on flat screen TV's, designer sneakers, and fancy speakers for your car.

    just because you go bankrupt doesnt mean the credit companies will stop asking you for money. they can take you to court and demand payment. if you dont have any assets, then so much the better. it would be better for you to talk to your lenders and get the payments reduced. just pay the interest earned.

    When you say "desperate need", could you be more specific? Bankruptcy doesn't do you any good if you can't specify how you ended up at that point.

    Please research bankruptcy thoroughly on your own and by consulting a good bankruptcy attorney. All bankruptcies must be approved by a bankruptcy judge, so get a good attorney to look at your financial situation to see if bankruptcy is even an option. Good luck!
