Given the unfathomable computing power required, (which Im sure will *eventually* arrive through technology, even if it takes thousands of years) Im sure it could be possible.
Perhaps our decendants will decide it Unethical, but for how long?
Scientists have already manufactured basic silicon chips that can interact with nerve tissue, but on a very basic level. More of a proof of concept.
