Goldfish are never /not/ hungry. It's important you feed them a set amount at regular intervals because they will literally eat themselves to death, as is the case with most fish.

They are moving. Just get used to feeding them once a day. Only give enough that they eat it all in 3 minutes. Any extra will just pollute the water. They'll be ok.

I don't know if this applies to gold fish but most fish sort of swim near the glass or close by to where you put your fish food in when they are hungry. Goldfish are little pigs and always think they are hungry. You should feed them what they can eat in 3-5 minutes, twice a day.

i got a new commet long goldfish today i put it in the bowl but it dose not move around much also i want to know if it if male or female and what other types of fish it would "mate" with the man at the pet store said feed it 3 times a week what temperature should the water in the bowl be last but not least how should i clean the bowl i usually just take out the fish but the stones in hot water and fairy liquid and clean the bowl with hot water and fairy liquid too plz answer my questions
