Why do most people do not belive in UFO's and think they is nothing else out in the Galaxy or other planets just like us human beings?

I think there's life out there somewhere. I'm not convinced any has been flying around us yet however. I mean if they are so advanced, how could they not have heard my constant pleas to get me off this f***ing planet. I'm a hard worker, and I make a mean spaghetti, what more could they POSSIBLY want in a new recruit?

Well, you bunched a bunch of stuff into one question- UFO's are specific sightings. Many people do not believe in those sightings because there is no rock solid proof they occurred. Life on other planets is an issue of probability. Most people accept that the probability is rather high that there is life somewhere out there. For other life forms to be just like us, perhaps with pointy ears or forehead ridges, is not too likely. Let's leave that for Sci-Fi. :) I do accept that convergent evolution may result in sapient species that are "roughly" similar to us in size and shape, but not so close that we can swap clothing. :)
