Looking to grease the Laser tracks in my PS2. Any special grease needed or will auto grease (used to lubricate wheel bearings) work fine?

You're reading Every time I turn my PS2 on, it goes to a Browser/System Configuration screen. I cleaned the laser lense w/rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip and cleaned out as much dust as I could. Is there any way I can get it to work again?
