Is there an easy way to catch typo's that aren't picked up by the spellchecker on MS Word? Such as if you type "heath" instead of "health" for example.

The problem with the examples you give are that they are both authentic words, both of which you may want to use at some time or another. You can add anything you like to Auto-Correct (on the Tools menu in my version).

I learned that reading something backwards helps you find mistakes in spelling and wording. Starting with the last word and reading backwards isolates each word and forces your mind to not skip over and assume things. So if "heath" doesn't make sense in the context of the writing, it probably would jump out at you more.
