Question

Help answer this question below.

How can Bill Clinton be impeached as President and a few years latter sponsor Hillary for the same position and be credible? Is America's memory that short? This is not mean't to start a political debate (it's in the ethics area).

You are confusing an Impeachment with the actual forceful removal from office. In this way, an Impeachment is the legislative parallel to a legal indictment -- in other words, it simply means that charges, whether true or untrue have been brought against a politician -- in this case against Bill Clinton.

Congress charged in their Impeachment that Clinton should be removed from his president office because he lied under oath regarding his sexual activities with Monica Lewinsky.

The Impeachment did not result in a successful conviction of Bill Clinton on these counts, and the only thing that America learned about Bill Clinton was that he is in many ways similar to a lot of American men, who cheat on their wives and then lie about it -- it's estimated that almost 1/2 of the divorces in America involve some form of infidelity like this.

Whether cheating on one's wife and lying about it are the grounds to remove a president can be debated, but Congress did not agree that Clinton could be removed for this set of charges against him.

And to punish his wife Hillary now for something Bill did many years ago seems similar to the Saudi Arabian female rape victim who is being whipped and blamed for being raped -- why punish the woman for a man's mistakes?

And Bill Clinton's bad sexual behaviour back then, does not seem like a good ethical reason to prevent Hillary from her right to run for office today, does it?

My personal opinion on that impeachment thing only was that he should've just not lied & said "YES, I made a mistake". Now the guy that I was seeing was a very strong Republican but did say that Bill Clinton was one of the best Presidents we ever had. I am not educated on politics so I learn from others

The Clintons have no morals or ethics. To them the world revolves around money and power.
