Rabbits are lagomorphs and not rodents so they actually have a diet closer to that of a horse and not a mouse. As a herbivore they mostly eat hay and grass but not so much the seeds on the ends. They browse through a field eating leafy weeds. They love vegetables. They will eat their cecal pellets (a special kind of poop they make) to help get the minerals, vitamins and proteins out of some of the harder to digest things and keep them healthy.
