Johnson says he's anything but cured. He says he owes his well-being — and quite possibly his life — to the multidrug cocktail he takes everyday.

Both? He is HIV Positive and he is still alive, so....
Um.... If he is alive, he still has it.... it never goes away.....
I think his viral load is so low it's virtually undetectible. His chances of passing it on to others is also very low because of the low viral load. Wonders of science? Maybe. Wonders of being loaded $$$ - yes.
Still surviving, still has the virus.
He hasn't been cured, if that's what you're asking...
You can never be rid of HIV once infected, but you can keep it from turning into AIDS as Magic Johnson has sucessfully done. Thanks to modern medicine he is still alive and well.
Unless there is a cure for HIV that only the rich can afford. There is no money in the cure, only in the medicine.

he still has it...HIV not a basketball game anymore.
The only way he can technically survive HIV is if he died from a unrelated illness.
Both.
1991, he had acquired the HIV virus. Nearly 20 years later, he no longer has traces of the virus in his body. He beat the epidemic through treatments and living healthy. This is a conspiracy; not of 3 people but an Oligarchy...! So for all you people who say he still has it, that is a malapropism; bigger than the Mumia Abu-Jamal case!
