Christians believe in Christ/God - Muslims in Allah and on it goes. If those who "claim" to love God really did love God this question wouldn't need to be asked. It's asked only because there is doubt. The safety of numbers in one's particular group/religion/denomination can't erase the doubt. Only God can erase doubt. Love for God means recognition of Him and His love. If you have religion you may be forced to prove your own beliefs instead of focusing on God. Focusing on God means letting go of the false self and seeking God. A seeker of God doesn't package heaven and hell and use it as a scare tactic. A true seeker loves God and wouldn't have the need to define some place of reward and punishment. What happens to them? Heaven and hell exist only as we see them from a limited human perspective. Our vocabulary is limited so we use the words heaven and hell to describe the best and worst. Some people are living a hell on Earth at the moment and some have died in this hell. But the apostles of Jesus Christ required more than just verbal acknowledgment; they demanded a response from those they preached the Gospel to (see Acts 2:38). Do we really know whether in the night at seasons in their lives God doesn't stir their spirit, discomfit their soul and attempt to woo them into seeking more than they have and know? From all of God's creation, everything we can see demonstrates the invisible things of God and reveals His power and divinity, to the point they are clearly seen and understood, so that everyone is without excuse. (Romans 1:20) My suggestion to this question is that no one will face God in judgment and be able to deny that there were times in their lives when He tried to motivated them into following His stirring of their conscience.

Thus, it is impossible for any human on this planet to follow all ten commandments all-lifetime without failure. The bible never says you have to do good deeds or be a good person to be saved, but also not only claiming to "believe in God" and act like we don't. Many people believe that's God's Grace, yet the bible gives a different perspective. It's Faith in Christ first, and such Faith shall produce good acts, and at same time such acts shall manifest our Faith for everyone else may see and believe, too. Still, the good acts we do from Faith is not to show the world how good or perfect we are, but to praise Him because doing these things doesn't make us perfect, but only saved and justified. God will make us perfect in the sense of how He intended to raise humanity: loving, peaceful, righteous, intelligent, wise, and etc.,. God isn't someone we deal with just every Sunday, but every day. Not everyone who believes in Christ goes to heaven. You can be a believer and go to hell. If you didn't ask him into your heart and asked for internal forgiveness of your sins...and work to live by him, you're not truly a believer. I wish I could find it in the Bible where it states that every human being before God returns will have the opportunity to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior...no matter where they are from and what they believe...EVERY ONE will have the opportunity. :)

I was once taught that Jesus will not return until the word has been spread to every corner of the Earth. I am not positive if this is actually in the bible, but it makes sense. I think that worshiping god is doing what's right and worshiping the devil the opposite, whether or not you have actually heard of those particular names for good and evil. Its my firm belief that God is a God of love anf justice. So for those that live before Christ or isolated where they never heard the word then they shall be judge according to their lifestyles, chores, and their heart.

I asked that of vehemently self-proclaimed christians before. They like to point to somewhere in the book of Romans, where Paul states in his letter to the romans that God makes himself plain in the things he creates. From that we are to surmise that because of the beauty of nature, the skies, all that is green, etc., everyone is to fairly surmise it was made by a certain God, and it is to be obvious that that God sent a saviour of fair skin and silken hair named Jesus, and it is to be self-evident that that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Therefore those who never heard of God and Jesus, and did not so believeth in them, have ignored such evidence and will go to hell. I have asked for evidence of one occasion where missionaries arrived in far-flung places only to find a people who somehow had already found, by these plain indications, the right God and saviour already and therefore did not need to align their spirituality correctly through missionary efforts. No one has produced such evidence yet.

When Christ was crucified, He was dead for three days before resurrection. If I'm not mistaken, many people believe that when Christ died and descended to the dead, He was there to preach the Gospel to those who had died before He came. He went where they were, just as He does for all of us.

First of all, not all who believe and obey go to heaven. Acts 2;34; Matt.11:11; Psalm 37:9,11,29. One does not have to go to heaven to have a happy future. Psalm 37:11 says: "The meek ones themselves will possess the EARTH, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Please also read MIcah 4:3,4. Jesus did say that he would select a little flock to reign with him in heaven. Rev. 20:6 says of these ones : "They will be priests of God and of the Christ and they will rule as kings with him for the thousand years." Also Daniel 7:27. Revelation 5:10 says: "You make them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will rule as kings over the earth. (here the King James bible says "on" the earth....but at Revelation 11:6, the same Greek word and grammatical structure is found and there the King James renders it over the earth ...just as does the Catholic Knox, and other translations. If they are to rule over the earth, then there must be earthly subjects to rule over just as the Bible states. Acts 24:15: “I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Both those who lived in harmony with God’s righteous ways and people who, out of ignorance, did unrighteous things will be resurrected. Very good question. Heaven, Hell, Sin, guilt etc are all misused words to control the human beings and rule over them. Heaven and Hell are all space you create. There is nothing like this life is a sinner life. Nothing to be guilty of. Your doings only judge you. It's the pain you get out of yoru doings, basically Karma is what is hell. The happiness out of it is what is heaven. Nobody is a sinner. So enjoy life to it's fullest,. This life is a blessing.
