Some a--hole broke into my car and tried to take away my GPS. It was password protected so he broke the antenna and left it in there. Can it be fixed or is it all a waste now?

    Yeah it can be fixed, depending on how bad the damage is to the actual unit.
    You didnt mention how the antenna was broken: by snapping it off it may have damaged things inside the unit that it was connected to, But probbaly not.

    I doubt the price for a new antenna would be hiugher than buying a new unit, but you may be extorerted when it comes to labour costs!

    Try sending an email or two around to the manufacturer asking if and how it can be repaired, they will direct you to what you can and should do.
