    Depends on: 1. The importance of the message (ex: Did you turn off the oven? vs. Do you like my new hair-do?) 2. How much I like the person. (ex:My bestfriend-1 minute vs. my exboyfriend-never!) 3. If I have an answer yet. (ex: Do you want to go get a drink?...I do if my boyfriend does, and I won't talk to him until 4pm, so I'm not texting back until I know.)
